Lost Kites is a 2018 documentary released in Canada. The film follows the lives of three orphans and a global call to keep families together. I partnered with the film’s creators to photograph and design promotional materials. Because this documentary centered around the theme of loss, I wanted to convey a sense of emptiness in the poster — but not without a hint of hope. I kept the text clean and simple to draw viewers’ eyes to the image.
