My Story

Born and raised in the capital of Brazil, I currently live on the Big Island of Hawai’i with my family. My passions include Latin culture and movies, Brazilian barbeque, and (of course) creative design. 

I first discovered my passion for design as a teenager. What started as a talent for Photoshop eventually blossomed into a lifelong dream, and I entered a career in advertising agencies while finishing my degree. Although I found the agency culture a little toxic, they trained me to be fast, take risks, and work hard under pressure. I got my start as a graphic designer and worked my way into an Art Director position. 

After 8 years in the industry, working in multiple agencies and running my own business, my love for design began to fade. I found myself in need of a rebrand. Then, at 26, I took a leap of faith and decided to leave my comfort zone. I moved to Hawaii on a journey to find myself and served as a volunteer for a nonprofit. It didn’t take long for me to fall into a Creative Director role, managing a team of around 20 creatives. That season of my life taught me a lot and eventually rekindled my old passion for graphic design.

My life’s journey has been all about rebranding — and that’s where I find my favorite work today. I believe it’s never too late to change direction as a company or individual. Many brands don’t need a full 180, but just a deeper dive into who they are and what they have to offer. That’s where I come in. As a designer and director, I help organizations all over the world rediscover their true voice.
